A little post to answer some of the common questions I get asked regarding quality, therapeutic grade, certified organic oils etc.
 
– Yes the essential oils I sell on my website are for therapeutic use. They can be used topically, in skin care preparations, for diffusion and inhalation etc.
 
– It is against professional practice to recommend in Australia the ingestion of essential oils unless qualified as an Aromatic Medicine Practitioner. I will not tell you if any of my oils can be ingested or not, regardless of brand.
 
– Simply put, the term ‘therapeutic grade’ is actually just a registered trademark that you may have heard being used by a particular essential oil supplier. This just basically means that other companies can not actually use this term when advertising their essential oils.– Regardless if the term used is ‘therapeutic grade’ or not, essential oils should not be ingested unless prescribed by someone who is qualified in advanced aromatic medicine.

– I am qualified as a certified clinical aromatherapist but this still does not mean that I will recommend the ingestion of essential oils.

– I will not prescribe essential oils via this website to treat your medical conditions. As a professional I will not prescribe essential oils unless a full aromatherapy consultation has taken place.

– My website is purely a retail store for aromatherapy supplies and detailed consultations are not available at this time. I am hoping this will become an option in the near future. Unfortunately I can not answer questions via email or Facebook regarding which essential oils should be used to treat medical conditions. Please seek medical advice before using any essential oils purchased from this website.

 
– ‘Certified Organic’ means the oils have been certified to have been grown & produced free of pesticides, fertilizers etc. I sell Australian certified organic oils on my website. This again does not make any difference in whether I recommend they can be ingested or not.
 
– MSDS sheets (Material Safety Data Sheets) can be supplied upon request for ‘Aromatherapy For Australia’ essential oils. Please email me via my website the name of the essential oil you are interested in purchasing.
